When it’s freezing
in Florida, their
bodies shut down.

They loose their grip.

The green Iguanas fall
from the trees, turn gray,
wake up when weather warms,

but, cold blooded,
when freeze persists

they die.

Cyber-bullied, cold
shouldered by friends
ongoing, the teen

looses her grip.

Vitality-grayed,
lackluster,
eating disordered

yet the cold blooded
shut out persists; she’s

found lifeless in her room.
