Right when I get my head above water
And the youngest is sleeping through the night
And I finally feel somewhat human
There is always an irrational desire to
Do it all again

But instead of a baby this time
I will opt for a pet

Which is the most high maintenance?
A one-legged rabbit with seasonal allergies?
A goat with a feeding tube?
A cat with a colostomy bag and sudden rage syndrome?
