“Grace is Simple” by Morghan Fuller

Grace is what is given to you when you walk into the door after a bad day at work,
It is your family tip toeing around you and making sure they have prepared your favorite dinner.
You know that they understand that you don’t mean to lash out on them, that today was just tough.
They whisper to each other that you just need a break, and that nothing said should be taken to heart.
They serve you grace in long hugs, and undeserved ‘I love yous’,
In warm bath water and fresh baked cookies.
Sometimes grace is godly and dramatic,
But sometimes it is when your family allows you to punish them for your bad day.
