“Grace prompt” by Teneice Durrant Delgado

Grace is somewhere between rage
And apathy. That’s what I told her,
a dear teacher, in a short message, on a day
that was filled with bitter churning. We find it,
you and I, any where we can, the bitterness
and the grace. In the vacuum of that conversation
where we decide to go home. We know we are
not heading to the same home, know both rage,
then apathy will also stow away with our clothes.
