Snakes have always seemed to be
the root of all evil,
a worldly symbol of the devil.
But have we ever thought
of the ways snakes suffer?
They eat whatever they like,
can pratically gulp down
a rooster,
house cat,
and small rodent,
in one sitting.
The rooseter doesn’t stay inside of him for long,
it makes him feel hatred,
and have an urge
to peel off his own scales.
The house cat gets coughed up shortly after,
as a result of unexplained anger,
and the rodent only makes him feel trapped
in a place of darkness.
He is empty,
but the feelings never subside.
For someone with such strangle worthy strength,
his grip on reality is weak.
