Accents at the Carnegie Book Fair

Accents Publishing is excited to announce our attendance at the Carnegie Center Book Fair on May 11th as part of the Mayfest Arts Fair!

We’ll be sharing the space with several other local presses as a chance for our authors (and wonderful Accents staff!) to connect with our loving fans. Interns Chris McCurry and newly recruited Robin LaMer Rahija will be running the booth with a rotating schedule of Accents Publishing’s poets. The schedule for handshakes, signings, and overall chatter is as follows:

12:00: Tina Andry, author of “ransom notes
1:00: Morgan Adams, author of “In Nonestica
2:00: Jeremy Paden, author of “Broken Tulips
3:00: Matthew Haughton, author of “Bee-Coursing Box

The Mayfest Arts Fair will run Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th from 10-6 and 11-5, respectively. Focusing on a casual, family-friendly atmosphere, the Fair is a juried celebration of the Bluegrass’s best performers and craftsfolk, containing over 100 booths of activities, concessions, and vendors for all ages.

The festival is free to attend and open to the public. Gratz Park is nestled between Transylvania University and The Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning. Come show your support for local poetry, literature, and the arts, all the while having a great time!
