I am not going to burn my bra because I paid fifty dollars for it to hold my boulders,
Not for it to lay charred at the bottom of a fire pit.
I like to shave my legs, because I like smooth things,
And have you ever felt freshly shaven legs?
Yeah, I am into girls, but even if I wasn’t,
I would not be content with the glass ceiling I was born underneath.
Just because my sexual organ does not hang between my legs,
Does not mean that men can act primitively towards me.

I am a feminist because rape statistics make me sick,
And I’m tired of watching money that could be used towards tuition go to plastic surgeons.
