Holograms of light we were
When we first knew each other
As lovers; local coagulations of
Waves of energy and intelligence,
The Spandalahar*; seventy seven
Million years ago it must have
Been, yet seems as just few hours

Then we chose to be of matter,
Took on bodies and brains of many
Variations; through all these incarnations,
Our love has weathered and endured;
Why then am I not yet sated, seeking
Always the vista over the next peak;
Is this a mark of good or bad fortune?
