After you said that you were determined to live during your summers I began to wonder what you meant by that. At first I thought, because of the context, that you were saying that you felt you weren’t living when you were with me. But then I decided not to be so egocentric, so I thought you were saying you weren’t living when you were with other people, because you had used that word solitude the moment previously. However, when my attention turned to the word summer, I began to wonder if you were saying something about your life during the school year, or lack thereof. Maybe it’s because you spend the school year with so many people. But I’ve come to believe that I have no idea what you are saying at all. Perhaps you might explain it to me, in person, and not electronically. Then I can ask questions and you can answer them. Or, perhaps, I should spend some time in solitude myself, and not think about you at all.
