Today I
turned in my
University
employee
library
card. Now I am a
non-UK
borrower,
license narrower,
no longer
can linger
over one hundred
books hoarded
to be read
when I damn well please,
mine for three
months times three
renewals, no fines.
Henceforth I’m
held to ten
books and only rate
twenty-eight
days times two
chances to renew.
Gone all hope.

with such stingy few?

In all seriousness, library privileges are going to be one of the hardest things to lose. Especially access to resources like JStor.
