My headache is a curse 
that runs in my family
on my mother's side,

which was always full of weirdos.

My headache tells me 
how the air will bend today. 

My headache is not magical. 
It only fucking hurts. 

But it tells me when the rain will come, 
when I can wear long sleeves, 
and when I have an excuse 
to sit by the window and talk to no one.
