I love the parable of the boy and the one of the leaf. The off rhyme of peel/glean and the rhyme of grace/place/embrace lend themselves to the lesson. The brevity of the last stanza punctuates the whole.
Been thinking about your poem all day. I see advice to stay above the misfortune, rather than risk causing useless pain by leaving grace. This is satisfying to me. Gaby Bedetti has more reason in his response, but I am still glad to have understood what I see.
