With each stroke of the pencil,
we are invited into his world.
Our view remains simple,
his is much deeper,
adding every last detail.
We see a fighter jet.
He sees a C17
with 120 rounds,
ready to strike.
A Samurai, easy enough.
not just any will do.
Ninja Turtle Leonardo,
two swords, blue mask,
Ready for battle
when evil is afoot.
Favorite book character,
so many choices.
Easy for him.
King of the Jews,
nailed hands and feet,
crown of thorns
adorns his head,
dying an innocent man.
A bottle of wine
Cabernet, Chardonnay perhaps.
Starts with a full glass,
What good is a bottle
if left unopened
Moscato : his mother’s favorite.
Glimpses into his mind : rare.
We never turn down an invitation.
