Colony. Collapse. Disorder

Colony, decline
Collapse of the honey hive
Chaos to the elite

Royal jelly flows
Vanishing workers hold secrets
Honey saves the Queen

Greed, gives disorder
Contempt feeds the drones, apathy
Vomiting forth truth

Swarm the upper class
Proletariat death sting
Leave honey for the crown

I love thinking about bee societies–the futility, the selflessness. And I relish that we who scatter at the sight of bugs delight in nectar processed in their mouths! This is a super-fine poem!

Thank you both, I keep bees and drawn great influence from them. I do enjoy using the bee society as a metaphor for the collapse of the working class in man’s world.
