“DREAMS” by Vijay Singh

As a child, I ran wild
In the pouring rain
And dreamt I was flying
Riding the waves of Spandalahar*

Felt as a horse might in free gallop
Or a lion in leap, hawk in his soar
Man in ejaculation, woman in orgasm
Wind, swaying trees, singing the forest
Dancer in synchrony with the sound
Music carried away by its harmony

Now as grown up, I ride this light of day
And dream I am child still, running wild
