“Riding on the Wheel through time and terrain in the morning Part 1” by Tyler Worthington

I hate time traveling
as little as I resent my memories
which is very little
no matter hat twinge of regret may still remain
the should haves
would haves
why’d I do
why didn’t I do’s
what was I thinking
why do I think too much
I could’ve made some friends
could’ve kept some too
could’ve made the right friends
could’ve met another true one here and there
hell those guys and girls are everywhere
but I could’ve never had any of those things too
I’ve been lucky to have a few of those
maybe I should be ashamed of being as lucky
as the poor boy who through blind luck
blundered his way through the academy
to become a leader of soldiers seeking to live and die for what they Believe to be true in this world
some knew no other way of doing things
whilst others sought never to return to inhumanity
and all the while he led not knowing his right hand from his left
yet luck remained for him and those who answered to his judgment calls
sometimes no one even had to die
luck is discerning luck is precise
turns out good luck is seeing the sun still shining
