Blown eggshells in white, brown and pale green, souvenir rocks—geodes, river pebbles worn smooth, striated, limestone, coal in shape of baby’s foot, whites, tans, blacks, browns, grays, pink, red, quartz, round, square, rough, heavy & light, one broken arrowhead—three kinds of pinecones, two buckeyes, flower seed assortment all drying, broken beads, small post-its blue, acorns in two sizes, sycamore seed pods, one small leaf with round insect sacs attached, redbud seed pods, driftwood both small and medium & crackled and dry, palm-sized muscle half, chicken wishbone, two old pennies,dove-shaped salt shaker, broken pottery shards, rooting red tipped coleus stem in small jar of water, one robin’s nest, sunshine: my window sill.
