people understand. The negative
place in some minds yawns
and there are a few who are bored
not knowing one is all and all
is one. And that this matters—
It matters more than money,
it matters more than success.
Growth is a thing that won’t stop
but some resist; some stand
waist deep in the mud.

The peace is young; there are
some who want to halt creation
because it whisks their clothes off
so they stand, naked and bad
blood dripping from their hands.
Some will perish, some disappear
from this green planet, and go
to a place that is nearer
to God, for another chance
to work their lives like clay.
Some are leaving, even today.
in their new place, they will find
the mercy that they missed this time.
But those who stay will soon know
how quaint their fear and anger are
as heaven spreads like wildfire
mind to mind.
