As the Light Changes

In a crack on the pavement’s skull
runs the red life of a little leaguer
hugging the black truck wheel to his chest.
His final breaths live on without him
in the gasps of witnesses.
Coached to keep his eye on the ball,
perhaps he chased a foul ball too far;
perhaps the brakes failed, or the light.

Before crossing the one-way street for lunch,
I look both cluttered ways,
right behind and dead ahead.

The sad tragedy of this child’s loss so eloquently expressed – the first four lines hit me hard.

up something new from right here. I did however expertise some technical points using this web site, since I experienced to reload the
website many times previous to I could get it to load
properly. I had been wondering if your hosting is OK?

Not that I’m complaining, but slow loading instances times will sometimes affect your placement in google and
can damage your high-quality score if advertising and marketing
with Adwords. Anyway I’m adding this RSS to my email and could look
out for much more of your respective fascinating content.

Ensure that you update this again soon.
