I participated last year and enjoyed the challenge of writing a poem a day, along with the other participants. Reading everyone else’s work was really inspiring and encouraging.

I’m 28 and a Lexington native. I enjoy the outdoors and hiking. My background is in computers.

Laura Kathryn Rogers comes from a long tradition of story-tellers and writers. She wrote her first poem in 3rd grade and has placed in national contests over the years.

I am seeking a publisher for an anthology of short stories and want to get my name and work more exposure.

I was born and raised in Ky., went to UK, lived in NY and Lake Tahoe, CA, where I met my husband. We moved back here years ago with kids in tow. I love Lexington and CA.

I have been a sporadic writer. In my 20’s I loved to write poems and always kept journals. With the help of my life-long friend George Ella Lyon, I hope to find my voice again.

I’m a former English teacher, currently working on a memoir, but poetry is still my first love.
