Tuesday: Cesar Chavez Day Poetry Reading
This event will take place at the Worsham Theater in the University of Kentucky’s Student Center. According to the Facebook page, it will be “a celebration of activism, social justice, and a poetry reading by local students.”

Wednesday: SQecial Media’s 3rd Annual Glorious Picture-Poem Contest
SQecial Media’s contest begins on Wednesday and will take submissions throughout the month of April (which is, of course, National Poetry Month!). They will have a poetry reading on April 12th.
The idea comes from Kenneth Patchen’s picture-poems.
