June is Lexington Poetry Month! Mayor Jim Gray declared it in 2013. So every year, different organizations are encouraged to have events to celebrate the month!

The Lexington Poetry Month Writing Challenge is hosted by Accents Publishing on the Accents Blog. Everyone is encouraged to write a poem every day and then share it, publicly, on the blog. In order to participate, you have to sign up before June 1st and you will be able to create a log in account with a personalized dashboard.
